You love all things organic and pure, so do I. So here are a few recipes using pure, therapeutic grade essential oils for your hair.
You may have seen my Instagram story on a DYI Hair spritz to keep your hair frizz free in the summer humidity. Here’s the recipe and you can order all of the ingredients on Mahanaimsupply.com
1 Cup of Distilled Water
8 Drops of YL Essential Oil
8 Drops of YL Frankincense EO
8 Drops of YL Cedarwood EO
8 Drops of YL Lavender EO
1 Tsp of YL V6 Vegetable Ois Complex
1 Tsp of Jojoba Oil (purchased locally or online)
1 Oz Thayers Witch hazel
4-ounce glass spray bottle
Instructions
1. Mix essential oils and witch hazel together in an empty glass spray bottle.
2. Fill the rest of the bottle with water.
3. Add Mermaid Hair label to spray bottle.
4. Shake vigorously before use; then lightly spray on wet hair.
5. Dry and style hair as normal.
YL tip: Substitute water with salt water! It’ll give you a natural, beachy look for any occasion!
