The word alone brings such a broad range of emotion. From giddy with anticipation to anxiety and dread.
I recently saw a post and reposted on MahanaimSupply Instagram and Facebook.
It was “you did not waste your love ever.” I found this statement profound and oh so very true. I felt it resonate within me, it shattered so many belief systems about love and regret. Instantly truth stood up on the inside of me, my spirit began to soar. If everything is energy and energy cannot be destroyed only changed, then all the energy of love that I had given to others; relationships, friendships, family members, business and even myself that was not received, simply changed. It transformed and changed directions, that energy came right back to where it was propagated. And I suddenly realized that so much of that love and energy of love came back to surround me, to be freely received as if to utilize a savings account that had been building up equity.
So by faith I reached up with open arms and eyes, as I did this I said, “I receive all the love I have sent forth into this world that was not received and waits for a recipient, today that recipient is me. Love I receive you back into myself to build up this house.“
A house like unto my Father's house, a house of love in the truest sense of the word.
I have grown a lot in this decade, so many changes in ten years. there have been ups and downs but through it all Yahweh has been good and He has been faithful to me. I buried my dad in February of this year and will miss him this holiday season, though I know he is whole now and loving being with Yahweh.
I look forward to life in this new decade as we enter 2020. I embrace the opportunities to grow and become light, the original design from the beginning. I pray that you all have an abundantly blessed holiday season and on into the new year and decade.
Love never fails
1 Corinthians 13:4-13
“4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. 6Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. 7It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away.
11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. 12Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope,
and love; but the greatest of these is love.
